Glory Dioh-Esona, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Glory Dioh-Esona, DNP, APRN, FNP-C is a native of Cameroon. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia (Augusta University) in Augusta, Georgia, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner Diploma from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Provo, Utah. She is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Dioh-Esona has over 16 years of diverse experience as a nurse leader. She joined the staff of Southwest Atlanta Nephrology in 2018 and enjoys empowering patients on their health issues using evidence-based practice guidelines. She enjoys giving back through health fairs and is the first responder in her church’s health ministry. Her goal, among many things, is focused on increasing awareness of the effects of hypertension, diabetes, and obesity while promoting the adage "prevention is better than cure.” Dr. Dioh-Esona is a member of several prestigious societies including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, National Society of Leadership and Success, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
